Deep Clean, Deeper Impact: The JPMorgan Chase Team that Makes our Day Center Shine

Published On: July 30, 2025|Categories: PFC News|

Every year, when we temporarily close the doors of the Day Center for maintenance during the week of Memorial Day, a special group of volunteers from JPMorgan Chase steps in to make an extraordinary impact—quietly, humbly, and with a whole lot of elbow grease. This dedicated team has made it a tradition to return annually for this full-scale effort to refresh and restore our space, creating a safe and hygienic space for our guests to gather.

Armed with gloves, scrubbers, paint brushes, and huge hearts, the group dives into work that often goes unseen but never unappreciated—cleaning under cabinets, scrubbing floors and walls, touching up spaces with a fresh coat of paint, and ensuring that every corner of our facility is sanitized, safe, and welcoming. The care of these 27 volunteers this year extended beyond cleanliness; it was an act of dignity for every guest who will walk through our doors in the months to come.

This tradition has become more than just a volunteer day—it’s a symbol of community in action. The consistency and compassion of the JPMorgan Chase team remind us that support doesn’t always come in grand gestures. Sometimes, it’s found in the quiet commitment of people willing to roll up their sleeves and do the hard work that helps others feel at home.

To our annual deep clean volunteers: thank you for being a vital part of our mission. Your service echoes long after the last mop is put away. You help create a space of hope, healing, and hospitality—and we can’t wait to welcome you back next year.
