New Grants to Benefit PFC Residents & Guests
We’re excited to share that our work has recently been strengthened by three generous grants that will make a real impact in the lives of our neighbors in need and experiencing homelessness in Detroit.
Bank of America has awarded us a grant to support essential services at both our Day Center and Bridge Housing Campus. With their help, we’ll be able to continue meeting urgent basic needs, such as fresh meals, personal hygiene products, clothing, showers, housing advocacy and more.
CN has also stepped in to help address a common and critical need: food insecurity. Their grant directly supports our nutrition focus at the Day Center, helping us to continue serving two scratch-made, nutrient-packed and health-benefitting meals each day to our guests, who often don’t know when their next meal will be.
Finally, a grant from the Community Foundation for Southeast Michigan will support the building and implementation of our Bridge Housing Campus programs. This investment will further develop our work to provide holistic and transformational solutions that not only meet residents’ immediate needs but also create long-term stability.
We’re deeply grateful to each of these partners for their compassion and generosity and for believing in the dignity and resilience of those who walk through our doors.
