About the Building Bridges Gala
The Building Bridges Gala is PFC’s annual fundraising event to further our mission of ending chronic homelessness in Detroit. The Building Bridges Gala is an incredibly important night for PFC, raising critical funds and awareness of our mission to support our friends experiencing homelessness with love and dignity. The evening includes a cocktail hour, silent and live auction with unique items and once-in-a-lifetime experiences, a delicious gourmet dinner, and a program sure to inspire.
2026 Building Bridges Gala
The 2026 Building Bridges Gala was nothing short of extraordinary! Taking place on Ford Field on April 16, 2026, we celebrated with 1,000 of our closest friends to raise critical funds and awareness of our mission to end chronic homelessness in Detroit. Together, we raised just over $2m that has gone to work immediately to ensure our friends experiencing homelessness have the support and resources they need to heal and live dignified lives.
Whether you made a field goal attempt with Detroit Lions placekicker Jake Bates, bid on one of the many incredible silent auction items, participated in our Paddle Raise, or purchased a raffle ticket to win a 2026 Ford Bronco, your support helped to contribute to our record-breaking evening. A special thank you to our Presenting Sponsor, Lear Corporation, and to all of our event sponsors that made this night possible. Your continued support keeps hope alive as we work together toward achieving our mission.
During our program emceed by Voice of the Detroit Lions, Dan Miller, we honored Roger Penske, Founder and Chairman of Penske Corporation, for his leadership, philanthropy, and dedication to improving the Detroit community – and beyond. And a special thank you to Jim Farley, Mark Reuss, and Sandy Pierce for sharing their insights and reflections along with Roger during our program’s special Fireside Chat.
Thank you for being a part of this momentous occasion!
